Development Plan
The purpose of the Club Development Plan is to provide the template for the club over the next five years to ensure that the club is well placed to meet the challenges of both the present and the future and to ensure the club’s position at the forefront of the GAA in Monaghan. This plan sets out the targets for the club under various headings and details the actions required to achieve these targets. It also recommends the administrative structure to be implemented to improve the effectiveness of the club in the management of our affairs.
The basis for this plan was the feedback received from the meeting of members and supporters held at the Iontas Centre in November 2008. This meeting was attended by over eighty players, mentors, officers and members who participated in facilitated workshops at which the members’ views were expressed under a number of headings e.g. Adult Games, Youth Games, Club Structure, Club Image and Communications, Facilities and Finance. The views of the participants provided an honest assessment of where the club currently stands in each category and the
improvements needed.
