Junior Bs –The Junior Bs semi final replay with Donaghmoyne eventually went ahead on Saturday last and after another tough battle Blayney advanced to a final meeting with Clontibret. Blayney started slowly and trailed for most of the game but a late rally was enough to see them advance by the minimum on a scoreline of Blayney 0-08 Donaghmoyne 0-07. Best performances on the day came from Adi Irwin and Aidan Ward. The final has been fixed for this Saturday in Drumhowan at 1.30PM.
U16 Presentation - The U16 double winners will be presented with their medals this Saturday evening at 7.30PM in the bowling alleyCome along on the night and show your appreciation for this team and their great achievement.

The Farney Barney – The County team are organising a boxing night over Christmas to help defray the costs of running the county team. Castleblayney Faughs are to be represented by former player Jason Hughes who has swapped his bicycle for a pair of boxing gloves for the night to battle it out in the ring. The event takes place on Monday 28 of December in the Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan. Tickets are available locally from Declan Loughman Sports and Jason himself.
