Club Notes 16/02/10
Casino Night – Tickets are selling fast for the Casino Night on Friday 5th March at the Comet Bar. The event promises to be a fun night out with the opportunity to try your hand at roulette, blackjack and texas holdem poker with numerous prizes for the best players on the night. Live music and refreshments will also be provided on the night. Tickets are available from any of the senior players, or from Ned Kellys and Loughman Sports.
Seniors – Training is back in full swing for all adult teams with large turnouts on all nights. The season begins in earnest on the first weekend in March with both Junior B and C teams having fixtures. The Seniors first game is at home to Latton on Wednesday 31th March.
Minors – Minor training for the year ahead has commenced and will take place on Wednesday and Friday nights in the field.
Membership - Membership is now due and will be collected by committee members over the coming weeks; costs for the year are €20 for an adult, €30 for a family membership and €10 for a juvenile. It is particularly important for all players to register early as they will not be covered for insurance unless they are registered members.
Golf Classic – The club has announced plans for their 2nd annual golf classic which will be held this year on Friday 9 of April, again the venue will be the prestigious Concra Wood Golf and Country Club. More details and time sheet information will be available over the coming weeks.
Lotto – Lotto numbers for the week ending 8th Feb 2010 were 04, 05, 20 and 21. There was no Jackpot winner; two people matched 3 numbers to win €75 each. Ciaran Donaghy, Toome and Des O’Rourke, Cootehill.Next week’s jackpot is €11,000
