Seniors - The seniors travelled to Carrickmacross last night (Wednesday) for a rearranged fixture, check results section for score.
Junior B - The Bs are in O'Duffy Cup on Saturday evening action when they face Clontibret in St Marys Park in a quarter final clash.
Junior C - The Cs recovered from a very slow start to record a convincing victory over Emyvale last Tuesday night. After ten minutes Blayney found themselves 4 points behind but a long sideline ball from Peter Treanor was finished to the net by Brian McGuigan, who showed no signs of rustiness in an impressive display. The first half was a close affair with the sides exchanging points but a late Blayney surge saw them take a two point lead into half time. The second half started well for the home side as they drew Blayney back and took a one point lead. After a couple of near misses however, Blayney retook the lead when Ryan Comiskey found the net and minutes later, Gerry Brady added another goal to give Blayney a solid lead. Blayney stretched away with points from Benny McElroy and Gerry Brady and while Emyvale registered a few late scores, the result was never in doubt. The Cs were in also in championship action last night against Eire Og, check results section.
