Seniors The first senior league game is down for next Wednesday night (31st March) at home against Latton however if Monaghan U21s are still involved in the championship this game will be postponed and played on Sat 3rd April instead.
Junior Bs The Junior B team came away from Latton last Saturday with a point. It was a game they should have won having been 7 points up in the first half and 5 up in the second half. At the back there were solid performances from Chris Cronin,Kealan Duffy and Mark Burns, for the day Brian Mc Guinness led the way in midfield with a huge effort over the hour ably backed up by his midfield partner Gary Ward, While up front Mark Hanratty led the way both from play and frees with Justin Hanratty and Stephen Lynch also scoring well taken goals, final score Latton 2.08 Faughs 2.08. The Junior B's next game is at home to Magheracloone this Friday night.
Junior Cs The Junior C team suffered a narrow one point defeat away to Aghabog on Sunday morning last. The game itself could have went either way with Aghabog snatching the win with two late points after Blayney had fought back from a seven point first half deficit. An excellent goal from Mark Hanratty before half time put Blayney back in the game and early in the second half Fergal Duffy found the net to put Blayney in a three point lead. The hosts came back strongly and twice found the net to take a two point lead but further scores from the impressive Hanratty and a Paddy Collins point give Blayney a late lead, but the final two scores came from the hosts and saw them triumph 3-09 to 2-11. Next league game is the on 7th April at home to Rockcorry.

Blayney Barber Best of luck to staunch Faughs clubman Gary OConnor on the opening of his new business on Main Street, good to see him upholding the family tradition.
Coaching The club held a very successful foundation level course recently with over 20 people attending on the day. It was great to see so many new faces there and we would ask that if any other parents are interested in becoming involved they contact any of the juvenile team mentors or committee members.
