Club Notes 12/01/10
Seniors – The draw for this year’s senior championship was made on Monday night last, Blayney have been drawn against Drumhowan in the first round. No date has been fixed yet for this game. The senior league has been pencilled in for an early start this year with fixtures provisionally arranged for the last two weekends in February.
Coaching Forum - This Saturday 23rd of January, the club have organised a coaching forum in the Enterprise Centre .The evening will kick off at 7pm sharp and it is hoped to have the session completed by 8.30pm. It is important that all coaches from Under 6's right through to Senior Level attend as their input is vital to the development of coaching plans for 2010 and beyond. Speakers on the night will be Paul O Connor and Paraic Mc Donald.
Club Night – After the forum a club night has been organised in Sean’s Bar with the food kindly sponsored by Sean himself. We would like to invite anybody that has an interest in the Faughs to come along for what will surely be a good evenings craic. Word is that Sean has managed to dig up some old county final DVD's for the night.
Best Wishes - The Club would like to wish former juvenile chairman Seamus Bishop the best of luck in his new shop in Portlaoise, wewould also like to thanks Seamus for his commitment over the last number of years and are delighted that he will still remain involved even though he will be working away from home.
